H2O2 Air Defense Systems are our safest and most effective defense against the spread of COVID-19.
This technology will break the chain of infection by actively destroying microbial threats before they can contaminate our environment.
In an article recently published by the Harvard Business Review, Joseph G. Allen and John D. Macomber discuss possible solutions for offices operating during the pandemic. They suggest a layered approach to fighting the spread of the virus using the Hierarchy of Controls model.
In an effort to reoccupy offices in the near future, they focus on the ‘engineering controls in spaces’ action in the center of the pyramid. Examples include air filtration systems and disinfection protocols that mitigate exposure to the virus and other germs.
Studies show that air quality and ventilation had a huge impact on employee sick leave and productivity. They found that more than half of the cases of sick leave were attributed to poor ventilation. Additionally, worker productivity decreased in buildings with a pollution source.
In conclusion, they found that “the [annual] benefits of higher ventilation alone are estimated to be between $6,500 and $7,500 per person”. This well outweighs the cost of the equipment and installation of Air Scientific Air Defense Systems.

H2O2 continuously converts the natural humidity in the air (H2O) to dry air gas molecules (H2O2). The natural state of water is H2O, which is two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. Hydrogen peroxide air gas has an extra oxygen atom that acts as a weapon against pathogens that are atomically attracted to water. For example, pathogens such as COVID-19 seek moisture in order to survive, exchange waste, and replicate. When pathogens diffuse H2O2, the extra oxygen atom creates a covalent bond that releases energy, which deactivates the nucleus and destroys the cell wall.
Dry hydrogen peroxide or H2O2 is not a vapor or liquid, which enables it to be airborne without the limitations caused by gravity. It stays suspended in the air and recirculates through building air circulation system sanitizing the coils in the HVAC ductwork.
Microbes and pathogens seek water or moisture in order to survive and multiply. Viruses like COVID-19 intake the H2O2 through their cell wall membrane during a process called “diffusion”. Similarly, these pathogens actively seek out H2O2 and ingest it to get the water molecule, which ultimately kills that microbial threat.
H2O2 molecules produced by the H2O2 are electrically charged to bind with bacteria, mold, and viruses. This means H2O2 and pathogens are mutually attracted to one another, which makes this technology faster and more effective than any other product on the market.
When we compare H2O2 Air Defense Systems to alternate protective measures against the virus, it's clear that there are serious and even harmful limitations to these methods.
Apart from this technology being the most effective defense against COVID-19, it is also the cleanest and safest solution for our environment.
